Designed to replace OEM Shock Absorbers. Sold Individually

Shocks are the BRAINS of your suspension! Nothing influences how your car rides and handles more than shock absorbers. If you could pick only one thing to change on your car to get the most overall improvement...upgrade the brains of your suspension…the shocks! It took us 16 years to find shock technology that we felt was worthy of our customers. After engaging the expertise of FOX Racing Shocks, we felt we were able to bring the already crowded shock market a product that was both unique and improved.

Cutaway Features

1.) Mono-tube design allows large piston for superior oil control – increases ride quality and handling performance

2.) 1/2" hardened shaft is precision ground and straightened to a tolerance of .001" inch for increased durability and performance

3.) Billet end cap with integrated debris wiper to prevent seal damage

4.) Teflon piston wiper allows consistent piston/bore contact and repeatable performance

5.) Oversized rod guide improves piston rod stability

6.) Integral internal bumpstop eliminates extension crashing

7.) Mono-tube bore is cathode anodized for years of wear resistance

8.) Hard coat external anodizing ensures years of lasting beauty and performance

9.) Specially contoured composite gas separator cup optimizes dead length and ensures proper nitrogen/oil separation

10.) Mono-tube design not only optimizes performance, but uses fewer components than a twin tube design. This is superior fluid control in its most simple and efficient form!

Twin-Tube vs Mono-Tube

The mono-tube design is the choice of nearly all high end and OEM and extreme performance shock manufacturers. Its main advantage is that a larger piston and a more efficient oil flow path leads to cooler operating temps and more consistent performance in extreme environments.

The RQ (ride quality) Series shocks have been designed and tuned for optimum ride quality in street rods, Muscle Cars, classic trucks and cruisers. It’s the perfect solution for the hotrodder who wants to install it and forget it!

The HQ (handling quality) Series shocks adds rebound adjustment for the driver who wants to tune ride quality AND handling quality to their specific taste. A wide rebound adjustment range allows you to cruise down the road in plush comfort or firm up your suspension for those Saturday morning canyon roads!
