Lift Parts

So you want to lift your truck or SUV, do you? Well then for that you're going to need some lift parts. Now you might wonder right off the bat what a lift part is, and fortunately, we've got your answer right here.

Lift parts are any components that you might need to raise the suspension of your truck or SUV higher than stock, or pieces you may want to use in coordination with your lifted ride. There are tons of lift parts out there to choose from, and to figure out what works with your ride, you need to know a few things.

There are some universal lift parts out there, but for the most part, you need to know the make, model and year of your ride. Once you have that you can determine what kind of suspension you have. With that knowledge in hand, you can figure out what kind of lift part you need.

Let's throw out an example here. Say you have a 2004 Cadillac Escalade and you want to lift the front of the vehicle. If you wanted to level the truck out — that is when you raise either the rear or front of the vehicle so it sits physcially level — then you might want to get a 2-inch leveling kit. That lift part will be a pair of torsion bar keys that give you the extra oomph you want up front.

Now say you want to lift that same truck a little bit higher. You would need a lift part like a lift spindle, which would take the front of the truck up 3 inches. You could potentially use those with the other lift part, the torsion bar keys, to get 5 inches of lift up front. That's not too bad for two lift parts.

These aren't the only kind of lift parts we have available, either. There are lift shackles, which raise up the mounting point of your rear leaf spring-equipped ride so you can get some extra clearance. Depending on how high you go, your lift part of choice might be a new driveline. After all, the bigger you go, the longer your driveshaft may need to be thanks to the new geometry involved between your transmission and your suspension.

Some of our lift parts are designed to work or enhance our lift kits. For example, we offer billet parts that complement an existing lift kit, giving you style points in the process. There are also traction bar face plates, which make your traction bars look even prettier. They're a nice touch if you're building a show ride.

Now why would you buy lift parts instead of buying a lift kit? In some cases, your kit may not have everything you want and/or need, and therefore you need extra parts to keep things going in the right direction. Other times you have some of the lift parts you need, but not all of them, which isn't a bad deal either. Or, you could have an existing kit and something either went wrong or broke on you, and now you need a replacement for that lift part. Should that be the case, we also have lots of options. Basically, if there is a lift part out there that you need, chances are pretty good we know where to get them.

Ultimately, which lift parts you pick up are going to be up to you, but should you need help, don't hesitate to ask. We have support teams here via email or the phone, so give us a call or send us a note and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
