Way back in the 1990s, when sport trucks were first making the scene and the OBS was the newest Chevy you could buy, BellTech was the company for lowered suspension parts. Their dropped spindles were second to none and with their full kits you could get your ride truly slammed and static.
But what about today? Is BellTech still a quality brand? Absolutely, which is why they’re this week’s Brand Spotlight.
What goes down …
We’re not exaggerating about their popularity in the 1990s. The 4-inch or 5/6-inch 1988–1998 Chevy lowering kit was praised by magazines and the people who ran them. You could get an OBS pretty hammered on some 15- or 16-inch wheels back in 1995, and it was all thanks to BellTech.
But what makes BellTech special isn’t just the full kits or the dropped spindles, but also their shock absorbers. For example, we have this Chevrolet S–10 Blazer 1982–2004 2“–5” Front/ 4“–6” Rear Belltech Nitro Drop Shock Set kit, which gives you shocks that’ll fit on your lowered truck. Do you realize how uncommon that was in the 1990s? And today they’re still just as good as they’ve always been (if not better), and one of our go-to shocks here at the shop. They’re that good.
… must go up.
Like any good company, BellTech hasn’t rested on their laurels. Check out their Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2014–2018 Belltech 7" Basic Lift Kit. It’s got lift spindles and longer shocks for more travel. Basically, BellTech decided they didn’t have to do just lowered trucks and cars — they could also go bigger, too. And a 7-inch lift kit isn’t too shabby in our books.
They’re not just a Chevy company, either. We’ve got their Ford F–150 4WD 2021–2025 Belltech 5–7" Performance and Handling Lift Kit too, and it’ll take your Ford higher and give you better handling. Who else does stuff like that with such high quality?
BellTech is always expanding.
BellTech has expanded their offerings over the years. They offer some pretty great coilover kits, like this Chevrolet Colorado 2004–2012 2wd Belltech 0–3" Adjustable Front Coil Over Kit w/ Rear Shocks, Factory Leafs model. It allows you to find tune your ride height for the best handling possible.
They also have sway bars, various control arms, and all sorts of good stuff. It’s pretty spectacular.
Just buy BellTech.
