Electric Air Valves
Electric air valves are designed to do one of two things. First, they can deliver air from your storage vessel — usually an air tank — to the air bag. But then a second valve tied into the same system will release the air from the bag into the atmosphere. As such, every electric air valve system designed for use in vehicles will have eight valves: two for each corner.
You control these electric air valves with a switch panel or ECU, and that can mean a lot of different things. In the case of a digital leveling system like a e-Level+ or AP4, you're using a computer to set your vehicle at specific heights or pressures. But you can also use traditional controllers to trigger the electric air valves, too. There's no wrong method between the two, they're just different.
Which means if you're looking to bag your ride and you want electric air valves you have some options to choose from. If you ever have any questions about which way to go, just let us know and we'll do our best to help.
