Product Overview
Ridetech’s pleased to announce the expansion of their popular StreetGRIP lineup to include late model truck applications, starting with 2015 and up Ford F-150.
Ridetech’s F-150 StreetGRIP kit provides the ride height adjustability needed to establish a great looking stance. In addition to reduced wheel-to-tire gap, it also lowers the center of gravity and sharpens handling. If the perfect lowered stance is your primary goal, Ridetech’s StreetGRIP kit supplies everything needed to give your F-150 an aggressive 3.5”/5.5” drop while maintaining the ride quality expected of a daily driven pickup.
How did Ridetech accomplish this? Their R&D team evaluated several suspension combinations before arriving at a package that delivers an ideal balance of ride quality, handling, and stance. That solution starts with a set of Fox Factory Adventure Series struts and shocks.
FOX’s proven damping technology provides a comfortable on-road ride and predictable handling whether your truck is a daily driver or weekend street truck bruiser. Their monotube design uses an internal floating piston (IFP) that separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber. This prevents oil aeration for fade-free performance when put to hard use. These non-adjustable shocks are rubber bushed in the front and poly in the rear, providing additional compliance and reduce unwanted NVH, ensuring passengers enjoy the ride as much as whoever is behind the wheel.
The rest of the kit includes high-quality shackles and required installation hardware that has been synonymous with Ridetech for 30+ years. By retaining the factory (OEM) springs, top hats, and control arms, StreetGRIP preserves the ride characteristics Ford engineered into the truck while creating a foundation that easily accommodates future upgrades such as aftermarket wheels, sticky tires, and added horsepower!

Notes: Not compatible with Raptor or Lightning models. Trucks with headlight sensors only will need Ridetech part number 12299506 / 12299501. Trucks with Onboard Scale option will need Ridetech part number 12299507 / 12299502. If re-using OE Ford upper control arm, slotting the lower control arm bolt hole by ½’’ inboard (toward the engine) is required (see instructions). To avoid slotting LCA, purchase Ridetech’s optional upper control arms. Below 3” front ride height reduction, slotting of the lower control arm bolt holes isn’t sufficient for alignment. Upgrade to Ridetech tubular control arms.
