Product Overview
Wilwood’s Forged Aluminum ProSpindle with Hub is precision engineered for use in fabricated A-arm suspensions on kit cars, street rods, drag cars and other custom or race applications configured around Pinto/Mustang II suspension geometry. A new designed one-piece forged aluminum body uses common Pinto and Mustang II tie rod ends and ball joints with a bolt on sealed bearing hub with 5 x 4.50"/4.75" dual mount wheel bolt circle and an integrated ABS sensor and port. With strengthened caliper mounts allow for better geometry and clearance with specific designed brake kits that utilize 12.19" to 15.00" rotors.
The 2" dropped spindle pin provides the desired lowered ride height without disturbing the suspension geometry. Bolt-on (front steer) steering arms are strong and can be replaced by custom designed steering arms to accommodate rear steer configurations. They also allow the same spindle to be used on either side of a vehicle. Bolt-on caliper brackets attach to substantially reinforced mounting bosses on the spindle body for secure, deflection-free mounting of four or six piston calipers. Made in the USA.
